About LupusLupis, the Wolf, was known to the Greeks as a wild animal, which the Centaur is carrying on his spear as a sacrifice the the gods. The Arabs knew Lupis as Al Asadah, the Lioness, but to the people of the Euphrates valley it was known as Zibu, the Beast, and Urbat, the Beast of Death, or the Star of the Dead Feathers.
